Welcome to Øydvinstod in beautiful Hardanger.The Norwegian fjords was in 2010 for the third times declared by National Geografic to be the best tourist target in the world.Here in Ulvik we have four holiday houses for 4 to 6 persons to let in Øydvinstod. The holiday destination of Øydvinstod is situated beside the idyllic Osafjord near the village of Ulvik in Hardanger. There you can find peace and quiet in an unspoiled Paradise surrounded by mountains and with the fjord just a few meters away. In the fjord the porpoises are swimming and in the air the sea eagle are floating hunting/looking for fish.They are nesting in the Osafjord . Its just a few years ago that they came back after it was not allowed to do hunting of these beautiful birds . Fishing in the fjord. ”Butikken” holiday house is originally from 1880. In former times it was a trading station with a shop, post office and telegraph office. The house has now been completely restored. Old materials were used in part, and other original details have been preserved. The house is very romantic, with beautiful views of the Osafjord, and you can sit out on the undisturbed terrace and enjoy the long summer evenings. ”Butikken” has 2 bedrooms on the first floor, one bedroom with a double bed and one with two single beds. The bathroom and living room are on the ground floor.The bathroom has a shower, WC, washing machine and tumble drier.The living room has a wood burning stove and a television with many different channels –English, German, and more. The open kitchen has a cooker, dishwasher, fridge and microwave oven. The three Sea cabins are very nice with modern furnishings. They have 3 bedrooms and sleeps six in all. "Butikken" was in the earlier days a shop for the farmers in the neighborhood.It was in 2006 renewed as a very romantic holiday house just on the edge of the Osafjord b is a double bed on the ground floor and two bedrooms.It has a living room open with a kitchen and the bathroom in the first floor.Two sleeping rooms in the second floor.The Sea cabins has the living room open with the kitchen and the bathroom in the first floor on the first floor.In the second floor two bedrooms each with two single beds. The Sea cabins also have a terrace with a fjord view and, just like ”Butikken”, it comes with all modern constr. They have all a terasse in front of 22 m2 with a beautiful view over the Fjord. The Sea cabins were new in 1997 and in 2009 were they quiet renewed with all modern equipment.
